Tanuki (Raccoon Dog) - Free Pattern

While they're sometimes called raccoon dogs, tanuki aren't closely related to either of those animals, but they are just as cute! They have a reputation for being mischievous, just like raccoons do.

Attaching Parts

Start by sewing the ears to the top of the head.

Now sew the head to the body.

Add the arms to the body. The arms should go just below where the head and body connect, and slightly toward the front of the body.

And lastly, sew the tail to the bum, centred between the legs.
