No Sew Snowman - Free Pattern
A quick and easy, no sew, mini snowman! He has a little carrot medallion nose, and little coal mouth to make a smiley face. If you liked this pattern, check out my snowman bunny pattern here!
No Sew Snowman
Materials
- Yarn (I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic Solid yarn)
- Crochet hook (I used a 4.5mm hook)
- Safety eyes
- Tapestry needle
- Stuffing
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
Abbreviations (US terms)
- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- inc - increase
- dec - decrease
- hdc - half double crochet
- dc - double crochet
- tc - triple crochet
- ss - slip stitch
- FLO - front loops only
- BLO - back loops only
- mc - magic circle
- (...) - repeat the part in parenthesis specified number of time
- (#) - number of stitches after finishing the round
Finished Size
Approximately 5 inches tall, including the hat. May be different for everyone based on yarn thickness, hook size, and tension.
Notes
This snowman is worked from the bottom to the top.

Stuff body

Embroider nose over 1 stitch between rounds 18-19, embroider mouth over rounds 17-18 and 16-17, add eyes between rounds 19-20 about 5 stitches apart.

Stuff head

25-28. In both loops: sc around (18) (4 rounds total)
Stuff hat

Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing
Hat brim
1. Attach black yarn to front loops from round 24 do (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
2. (Sc, inc, 2 sc) x6 (30) Slip stitch into the first sc of the round to finish the round.
Fasten off, leave a tail for weaving in
Scarf
In red
Ch 51, skip the first chain and sc down the chain (50)
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
