Arctic Hare - Free Pattern

The arctic hare is so fluffy and soft looking in their winter coat! The black tipped ears are cute, too! They look like perfect little cotton balls out in the snow.

Attaching Parts

Before attaching parts, we'll create an indent around the eyes to shape the head.

Pull a long piece of white yarn through the bottom of the head, and out right next to one of the eyes, on the side closer to the nose.
Now put your needle into the stitch right above or below the stitch you're in to create a tiny line. Pull through to a stitch right next to the opposite eye.
Pull the yarn through the stitch just above or below the stitch you're in again, making another tiny line. Pull the yarn through to the bottom of the head again.

Pull the yarn tight until the eyes indent as much as you'd like. Tie the two ends together and hide the tail to finish shaping the head.

Now sew the ears to the top of the head.

Sew the front paws to the bottom of the body, just behind the head area.

Sew the back paws to the rear end of the body, in line with the front paws.

Finally, sew the tail to the bum.
