I just might make a grizzly bear or kermode bear to go with it!  Chicken  Free Chicken Pattern by Lisa Auch Crochet   This tiny chicken worked up super fast! I just love the little tail on it, too. It comes in a few sizes, but I made the smallest one with chenille yarn. These would make super cute Easter presents to hide in little eggs for the kids! Dango Pets   Free Dango Pets Patte...

Sun and Moon Dragon Amigurumi Pattern Release!

Sun and Moon Dragon Amigurumi Pattern Release! I'm so excited to announce that my sun and moon dragons are available now! First of all, they're available on Etsy here , and on Ravelry here .  I came up with this design by basing the body shape off my peppermint puppy and candy cane cat patterns   that I made for Christmas 2025. I was thinking about making different dragons with different themes, and I decided I wanted to start with a sun and moon (or day and night) theme.  For the moon dragon, I wanted to include little star decorations, and horns that resemble a crescent moon, while also using a contrast of light and dark colours. For the sun dragon, I knew it had to have bright, fiery colours and have a mini sun decoration on it. I love it when dragons have little goat-like ears, so I had to include those as well.  These patterns are for intermediate level crocheters, since there is a bit of a trick to forming the body and legs in one piece. They turn out to b...

Snow Bunting - Free Amigurumi Pattern

Snow buntings have got to be one of the cutest birds in North America. When they're in this black and white winter plumage, or their rusty summer coat, they're just so adorable! This stuffed toy perfectly captures what makes them so charming, with the big, shiny eyes and round body. The only sewing you need to do is for the wings and beak, making this a low sew pattern! If you're looking for something a little smaller, I have a free chickadee pattern here , and a free junco pattern here!
