Free Mini Amigurumi Pattern Roundup

Welcome to my free pattern roundup for amigurumi that are miniature! This roundup features 11 amigurumi patterns that are super cute and stay 3.5 inches or less. These mini toys are great for keychains, party favours, or pocket pals! Most of these patterns can be done in under an hour, too, so they're quick! Pick up your crochet hook and grab your favourite yarn!

Mini Bear

Free Bear Pattern by Red Ted Art 

How cute is this low sew bear? All you have to sew on is the ears and muzzle. I made mine a polar bear in chunky chenille yarn, but you can do any kind of bear you want! I just might make a grizzly bear or kermode bear to go with it! 

Chicken 

Free Chicken Pattern by Lisa Auch Crochet 

This tiny chicken worked up super fast! I just love the little tail on it, too. It comes in a few sizes, but I made the smallest one with chenille yarn. These would make super cute Easter presents to hide in little eggs for the kids!

Dango Pets

 Free Dango Pets Pattern by Bippy Buddies

Make one of 3 different dango shaped animals, with the option of a cat, puppy, or lop bunny. These guys are super quick and easy to make, with no complicated stitches required, and minimal sewing! 

Mini Cat

Free Cat Pattern by Mariska Vos 

A low sew, tiny kitten charm! This pattern only requires you to sew on the tail, since the ears and body are worked as one piece. I bet you could get super creative with different markings, too! I made mine a classic grey tabby.

Bee 

Free Bumblebee Pattern by All About Ami 

So tiny and so easy to make! This little bee takes no time at all to make, and it turns out so cute! The little knots at the end of the antennae are so charming. It would be super cute with fluffy yarn, too. This pattern also has a queen bee version that's larger, if you want to grow your hive!

Bun Bunny 

 
This little bunny pattern is super easy to customize with different spots and patterns, since it has a simple, round shape. I recommend trying the classic Dutch pattern as it's listed first, then try out your own pattern if you're looking for more of a challenge!

No Sew Chick 

Free No Sew Chick Pattern by Stitch By Fay 

This round bird is the definition of a borb! I love how this pattern is no sew, so it's super fast and easy to make. The hair on top is such a nice touch, too! I made mine in chenille with the classic yellow colour, but it would look good in other colours and yarn types, too.

Dark Eyed Junco and Chestnut Backed Chickadee 


 
These tiny birds are just so small and cute! These patterns have lots of colour changes, but it's so worth it for the little bean-shaped bird you get in the end. These two birds are based on species native to my local area.

Octopus

The tentacles on this octopus are so tiny and cute, like 8 little beans! This pattern is so quick and easy to make, and it turned out so well! Maybe I'll make one with rainbow tentacles in all different colours next!

Brain

Free Brain Pattern by Mohu Mohu 

I just can't resist this adorable pattern! It's perfect as a fidget toy, desk buddy, or just as a cute friend. The way this pattern works up is just mesmerizing to watch. I made mine with oval shaped safety eyes, and it came out so cute!
